HealthPhone Now Online
E-Medicine/Tele-Medicine Site Now Open
Now it's official - the world's largest Chinese e-medicine/tele-medicine
online resource is officially open.
HealthPhone.com is the only website in the world, where healthcare professionals
can videoconference in real-time with patients. Using the latest in Voice/Video
over Internet Protocol (VVoIP) technology, all one needs is a multimedia
computer with an Internet connection and a webcam to see a HealthPhone.com
healthcare professional.
HealthPhone.com is a full-service Chinese and alternative medical site
- or rather sites. HealthPhone.com is actually two sites, a professional
site where healthcare professionals can talk shop, and an all-purpose
consumer site, where everyone is always welcome to share in the experiences
and knowledge of living longer, healthier lives, through Chinese and alternative
methods of healing. Currently, both sites are available in English and
Chinese, however, as HealthPhone.com expands worldwide, so too do the
many languages - coming soon expect to see Italian, German, French and
other translations.
Seeing a healthcare practitioner in real-time is just one of the many
features of HealthPhone.com. The website is a virtual resource for Chinese
and alternative medicine, packed with thousands of suggested healing methods
for treating some of the most common and most serious medical conditions.
All the information on HealthPhone.com is prepared by some of the most
respected and well-known professionals in their respective fields - from
Chinese Medicine Doctors (CMDs), to licensed acupuncturists and herbs'
specialists, to western Medical Doctors - HealthPhone.com provides only
the finest quality information from those in the know.
"We're very pleased with our new HealthPhone.com," said Paul
Li, President and CEO of E-Tech Canada, the company which manages the
HealthPhone Corp. "HealthPhone.com's unique features and services
will set the standard for e-medicine and tele-medicine. Now, people can
see a doctor whenever they need to, from anywhere around the world - all
they need is to go to HealthPhone.com."
HealthPhone.com officially launched at a successful gala buffet lunch
on October 28, where mayors and business executives - some from as far
away as China - witnessed the birth of a new era in healthcare.
Our experts are available to answer any questions about tele-medicine,
e-medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or specific questions about
HealthPhone.com.
E-Tech Canada and HealthPhone.com are members of Pearl Oriental CyberForce

E-Tech Canada Announces Partnership with China's
Largest Pharmaceutical Company
E-Tech is proud to officially announce a joint partnership with Sanjiu Medical
and Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. - China's largest pharmaceutical company.
The joint partnership grants Canada's HealthPhone Corporation exclusive
marketing rights to Sanjiu's most important new product; Herbal Granules
Extract in North America.
"Single Chinese Herbal Granules Extract is an innovation of Traditional
Chinese Medicine," said Mr. Richard Liu, CCO of Sanjiu Medical and
Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. "It is made from top quality, genuine raw
herbs through extraction and processing by means of modern technology.
This maintains the quality and taste of the raw herbs as well as the medical
efficacy. The granules are extremely easy to store, convenient to use,
economical and safe. Most important is that decoction is not necessary.
Just add hot water to the granules and drink."
"This product is easier to dispense for pharmacists, because it
is clean and the granules can be quantified," said Mr. Paul Li, CEO
and President of E-Tech Canada Ltd. and HealthPhone Corporation. "More
importantly, it is effective and convenient for the patient. I think this
is a milestone in the modernization and popularity of Traditional Chinese
Medicine. I predict that these granules will occupy a big market share,
when compared with traditional raw herbal material."
The management of both companies will officially sign the contract making
the deal official, at the HealthPhone.com Grand Opening Ceremony, on September
28, 2000. E-Tech's launch begins with a cocktail reception at 11:30am,
followed by demonstrations of acupuncture, Qi Gong and tele-medicine at
12:30pm. The contract signing will take place just before the all-you-can-eat
buffet lunch at 1:30pm.
E-Tech also manages the world's largest Chinese and alternative medicine
resource on the Internet, where both patients and healthcare professionals
can share their feelings, experiences, and knowledge, without the traditional
constraints of time, geography or economic class.
Sanjiu Medical and Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is one of the largest pharmaceutical
companies in China. In 1999, the stock of the company was successfully
listed on the domestic A-Stock Market in China. The company acquired 23
pharmaceutical enterprises around China, in recent years. Sanjiu Medical
and Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has well over 1,000 products, from antibiotics
to shark fins and through dedicated research methods, is constantly making
new discoveries which increase their product line.

Internationally Acclaimed Qi Gong Master to Perform
Chinese Arts Explored Through Demonstration
The ancient arts of acupuncture and Qi Gong will be demonstrated by some
of the world's masters, at the grand opening ceremonies of the new e-medicine/tele-medicine
website on September 28.
Tele-medicine is the ability to see a medical professional remotely over
great distances and will be demonstrated live at the opening ceremony,
using the latest in Voice and Video over Internet Protocol technology.
Qi Gong (pronounced "chee gong") is a form of Chinese exercise
which encompasses a whole lifestyle of training and practice, both mentally
and physically. "Qi" means air, breath of life or vital essence.
"Gong" means work, self-discipline, achievement or mastery.
Put them together and you have the form of physical training and thinking
which combines aerobics, isometrics, isotonics, meditation and relaxation
known as Qi Gong. Qi Gong has been used to heal everything from arthritis,
cancer, diabetes, liver disease, and even Parkinson's disease.
Qi Gong Master Dr. Ben Wu, a Chinese Medicine Doctor, will be performing
his ancient art live, creating numerous photo opportunities for the press.
Backed by over 25 years of experiences, Dr. Wu has served as both a clinical
supervisor and a teacher of Qi Gong in China, Japan, Germany, Austria
and Canada. He has a Master's degree in Qi Gong and Acupuncture.
Acupuncturist Dr. Adam Chen will also be performing at the opening celebrations
on September 28. He'll demonstrate acupuncture on an actual patient, live,
presenting more photo opportunities for the media. Dr. Chen is a Chinese
Medicine Doctor with a Ph.D. and he is a lecturer for The Michener Institute
for Applied Health Science.
Acupuncture is the art of managing the body's flow of energy through
specific pressure points with needles. Acupuncture is actually quite common
in modern medicine, being used to treat abdominal pain, constipation,
anxiety, toothache, back pain, headaches, poor vision, even the common
cold.
The demonstrations are just part of the festivities at the official launch
of Healthphone.com - Markham's Mayor Don Cousens, Ontario Solicitor General
the Hon. David Tsubouchi, and Canada's only Canadian Alliance MP - Jim
Jones will be speaking at the opening ceremonies. Other dignitaries -
some from as far away as China and Hong Kong will also be in attendance.
Healthphone.com's launch will begin with a cocktail reception at 11:30am,
followed by the demonstrations at 12:30pm and an all-you-can-eat buffet
lunch at 1:00pm. All the events take place on September 28, 2000 at the
Embassy Suites Hotel, located at 8500 Warden Avenue, in Markham, Ontario,
Canada.
The media is welcome to join us at the Grand Opening lunch. Photo opportunities
are available during the demonstrations and interviews with the presenters
can be arranged. There will be informal discussion during lunch, at which
time the media may ask questions of our spokesperson.

Alternative Medicine Treats Incurable Diseases
Eastern Medicine Aids West
People suffering from incurable diseases are turning in large numbers
to Eastern alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, acupressure, and
Chi Gong. These and other Traditional Chinese Medicinal approaches to
healing have been around for several thousand years, but until recently,
haven't been widely used outside their native China.
"More and more people are picking up Traditional Chinese Medicine
techniques in place of modern Western ones," said Paul Li, President
and CEO of E-Tech Canada, which runs the Healthphone Corporation. "Not
that there is anything wrong with western medicine, but in many cases
where modern science hasn't been able to help, often alternative treatments
like Chinese medicine have helped."
Cancer, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Arthritis, even Chronic
Fatigue Syndrome are just some of the many serious and incurable diseases
which have been treated effectively and successfully by Chinese medicine.
"Western medicine has many band-aid-type solutions, quick-fixes
which hide or slow the symptoms, but that's not a cure," said Li.
"Although Chinese medicine can't cure everything, the approach is
very different and provides a very distinct and solid alternative to modern
science."
Unlike Western medicine which breaks everything down into units, Eastern
philosophies view everything as interconnected wholes. While Western medicine
sees the body as composed of organs, glands and other individual parts
and systems, Eastern Chinese medicine sees the body holistically.
As more people turn to alternative medicines, there is an increased need
for accurate, reliable and easily accessible information. E-Tech Canada
has created a new website, which provides a complete reference source
on Chinese and alternative medicines - Healthphone.com.
"Through Healthphone, we hope to make choosing Chinese medicine
an easy, effective and safe alternative to conventional cures," said
Li. "All information on our site comes from practicing professionals
and has been thoroughly checked and double checked for accuracy."
Over 5,000 Chinese treatments for over 130 common ailments are listed
on Healthphone.com, making it the most comprehensive Chinese medicine
site in the world. The site also makes use of the latest in tele-medicine
technologies, allowing visitors to videoconference in real-time with Chinese
doctors and other healthcare practitioners.
After extensive testing, Healthphone.com will officially roll out on
September 28, 2000. A n opening ceremony - complete with demonstrations
of e-medicine, Qigong, Acupuncture and more at Embassy Suites Hotel, in
Markham, Canada.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Jumps Online
An ancient hip and trendy form of alternative healthcare just got a major
face-lift.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been helping billions of people
in China live long, healthy lives for thousands of years under the old
adage - if it isn't broke, don't fix it - until now. E-Tech Canada is
launching the world's most complete and informative TCM Tele-medicine/e-medicine
site on the Internet - HealthPhone.com.
"Despite it's age, no one has undertaken the enormous task of categorizing
and organizing Traditional Chinese Medicine," said Paul Li, President
and CEO of E-Tech Canada. "As more people are seeking out alternative
cures, we decided to tackle this issue. Using today's state-of-art technology,
together with our sophisticated voice/video over technology, we created
a new e-medicine solution."
An enormous task it most certainly was - visitors to www.healthphone.com
will not only find over 3,000 Chinese treatments for over 130 different
ailments, they will also find the world's biggest online stores in Chinese
Medicines. HealthPhone.com is an-easy-to-understand reference centre with

has a complete e-medicine office building, with Chinese, alternative and
Western healthcare professionals online and available in real-time, to
see patients one-on-one or in groups for a truly unique tele-medicine
experience.
HealthPhone.com is actually two sites, a professional site for healthcare
professionals and a general consumer site for everyone else. Both sites
are available in English and Chinese, but coming soon, expect to see French,
German, Italian and other translations as the company expands globally.
"HealthPhone.com is a unique Internet website. Unlike most websites,
which survive solely on site advertising, HealthPhone.com has multiple
and diverse revenue sources including online stores, an International
Trade Centre, a Marketplace showcase, practitioner wholesale shopping,
an online medical office and many others," said Paul Li, President
and CEO of E-Tech Canada. "HealthPhone.com's business model is designed
to generate steady and impressive revenues, but at the same time, fulfilling
our primary mandate: to expand Chinese and alternative medicine to the
world while helping people."
After being extensively tested, and reviewed by numerous healthcare practitioners,
HealthPhone.com will officially roll out on September 28, 2000. An opening

HealthPhone.com Seeks Partners
Among Practitioners, Patients and Resources for
Innovative Network in Chinese and Alternative Medicine
Expected to be in full operation by June 2000, HealthPhone.com is intended
to be the largest and most comprehensive website for Chinese and Alternative
health information, resources, products and services. The site will make
it possible for anyone with an Internet connection to have access to quality
alternative medicine information, products and services, and for widely
separated healthcare professionals and patients to come together and experience
all of the credible components of alternative health services available
around the world.
An integral part of HealthPhone.com's concept is an audio-visual "Online
Doctor" consultation and advice service that uses our proprietary
Internet Telephony software as the communications medium, a platform that
also provides a meeting place for professionals and patients. An invitation
is therefore extended to all practitioners of Chinese and Alternative
medicines and Doctors of Western medicine to indicate their interest in
becoming partners in the rising trend towards using Alternative channels
to deliver a more effective healthcare.
E-Tech Canada Ltd. President Paul Li is building what will become the
largest global resource network for Chinese and Alternative medicine,
and his vision for HealthPhone.com is to deliver this specialty's expertise,
knowledge, information and services on a global scale. Using the Internet's
latest audiovisual technology, the site's services will provide fast,
simple, user-friendly navigation to the information and the professionals
without the constraints of time, country, culture or distance.
With the cooperation of vendors and practitioner partners, part of the
site will be a "MegaMall" of over-the-counter products such
as health food, dry food, herbs, and medicinal plants and formulas. These
products will be made available with guarantees of the lowest prices,
highest quality and online descriptions (where appropriate). An instant
electronic Help Line is planned to answer most visitors' common questions
Interactive multimedia presentations and movies which present the facts
and information about Chinese and Alternative medicine are a distinctive
aspect of the site.
Of special interest will be presentations of self-learning programs for
sequences of learned Chinese exercises (like Tai Chi) such as "Xiang
Gong", which is widely believed to have beneficial effects on several
medical conditions.
A centralized worldwide Directory is planned of affiliated doctors, practitioners,
associations, organizations, societies and suppliers with skills and products
in Chinese and Alternative medicine. This convergence of partnered resources
will help to generate a synergy in what is now a somewhat diverse and
fragmented Alternative medicine community.
